End of june - 14th July - Cancelled in 2020
Liège, the most Francophile city in Belgium. From the end of June until the great date of July 14th, Saint-Paul square turns blue-white-red. Areas for boules, entertainment, concerts… and, above all, excellent wine and regional products to discover… turning the square into a small corner of France that welcomes thousands of visitors every year. During the day, at aperitif time, in the evening, or just passing through … there are many good reasons for stopping off at the Village Gaulois. The organisers go even further, because every year the closing ceremony for the village is held with a fantastic firework display on July 14th to celebrate France and its links of friendship with Liège.
