His knowledge of the animal world, with which he has been in constant contact for 45 years, has enabled him to give new life to one of the most incredible creatures in Belgian comics.
The exhibition at the Grand Curtius traces the animal thread in his work, from Broussaille to Zoo and from Spirou to Little Nemo, as well as all his other forays into fields as varied as cartoons, illustration and sculpture. His frescoes, full of moving animals, are odes to life. With his ambitious project Animalium, he offers a resolutely original take on the animal world.
Frank Pé's work "Par-delà la bête" regularly questions the burning relationship between humans and animals, which always starts with fascination.
