An outstanding cultural offer as a gift: your access to the exhibition Collectionneuses Rothschild : Mécènes et donatrices d’exception
La Boverie, in partnership with the Louvre Museum, presents an original journey through the history of art via the emblematic women of this exceptional family.

Since the 19th century, the Rothschild family has been legendary in the history of our societies. Over time, this dynasty has become synonymous with success in the world of finance, but also with intellectual and artistic wealth. An essential name that is known by everyone. However, little-known personalities and an unexpected heritage lie behind this surname. This exhibition, which offers a fresh perspective, will highlight the women of the family with their unique personalities.

These women, who have been ignored throughout art history, were collectors, builders, patrons and heiresses and made significant contributions to the enrichment of the historical heritage and collections of French museums through considerable donations and inheritances. Over an itinerary of more than 2,000 m², the exhibition will retrace the tastes and personalities of nine exceptional women. Sometimes highly independent and sometimes in the shadow of their husbands, they played an important role in art history, history, society and even the lives of artists in their time. (Fragonard, Chardin, Delacroix, Cézanne, Claudel, Rodin, Egon Schile...).

Available every day except Monday.
Your tickets will be given to you at the hotel reception.
And why not by train?
It is no secret that the city of Liège is undergoing massive development. The construction of a tram line is causing significant disruption in the city centre .

Although the city remains accessible by car, we recommend making the most of your trip to Liège thanks to the train!

Liège has 3 stations in the city centre, one of which was designed by one of the greatest contemporary architects: Santiago Calatrava. Once you arrive in the city, you can easily get around by train, bus, taxi, and even scooters or rental bikes for the more sporty.

Moreover, if our city is rich in heritage and discovery, it is also a pedestrian paradise: you can cross the whole city in less than 45 minutes.

So don't hesitate, come by train.
