Liège is at the crossroads of several of the most important motorways in Belgium: E25 (Luxembourg – Netherlands), E40 (Germany and Luxembourg – the North Sea), E42 (France – Netherlands) and E313 to Antwerp.

For easy access to the city centre, two Park and Ride facilities (P+R) are available at the entrance to the city:

P+R Sclessin (south – access via E42/E25)
P+R Bressoux (east – direct access from the E25)

By boat

Last but not least, the most romantic travelling means is by boat! The Meuse marina annually welcomes hundreds of boat travellers.

The conveniently located Yacht Harbour is just a stone’s throw from the historic centre of Liège. It can annually accommodate 120 boats and offers a wide range of quality services. Top security measures ensure a safe mooring haven.

With the aim of attracting larger cruise operators, extension work is currently underway to create larger berthing areas for boats up to 135 metres long.
